Make a List of What is Being Moved

Keep Prized Possessions with You
It is probably a good idea to keep valuable possessions like antiques, collections, and other items with you in the vehicle you are in. If there is no room in your vehicle, make sure that your mover knows that they are fragile. Check your homeowners insurance to see if you are covered during the move.
Keep Important Documents with You
Documents like recent bank records, current bills, school records, birth certificates, wills, and more should be with you during the move.
